Piper-Heidsieck is a Champagne house from the Champagne region of France. Founded by Florens-Louis Heidsieck in Reims in 1785, the house united the Heidsieck and Piper names in 1838. Today it belongs to EPI, the French luxury goods group headed by Christopher Descours.
Its winemaking rests on a precious balance: each harvested growth is vinified separately, variety by variety and growth by growth, to respect the typicity of its origins. The more nature is allowed to do its work, the less the wines need be filtered, centrifuged or racked — a gentle, almost loving method the house has practised for more than ten years.
Everything that touches the wine is strictly controlled, from the winery dating from 1995 to the secure, temperature-controlled cellars that hold its treasure of reserve wines.
