Glengoyne
The same traditional methods and basic ingredients, barley, water and yeast, have been used to make Scotch whisky for over 500 years and Glengoyne is no different. However there is one subtle difference which does set Glengoyne apart from other malt whiskies in a class of its own.
Tradition
In a word, TRADITION Almost to the letter, we follow the principles our founders established This means our stills are Scotland’s slowest. Our barley is dried by air, never peat, And our oak casks are the finest we can source To change even one element would be to alter the unique taste of GlengoyneMaturation
Each one is protected from extreme swings in temperature by the stone walls and earth floors of our traditional warehouses. Each, too, is given room to mature – stacked just three high by our warehousemen. This patient maturation allows the consistent evaporation we’re looking for – cask and spirit in perfect union. Our Collection
